The user interface of No Man's Sky includes the heads-up display and the menus for the game. There are two main menus: the character's inventory, and the player's discoveries and options.
Character inventory[]
The character's inventory pages shows the respective inventory for the exosuit, starship, and multi-tool. These screens show the current technologies, upgrades, and resources. On the right of the screen, it shows the strength of the respective item.
Player options[]
The player's options include the discoveries page, journey page, controls page, and the options page.
